Depressing week
It has been a depressing week. Everything just seems so depressing or indifferent. Seriously, I have been feeling like this for the entire week. Everything is so anti-climatic since the BRATs Ipoh 2009 Journalism Workshop.
...exams results are out and unfortunately, I did NOT do well in them.
English Language ~ D-
Mathematics ~ F
Science ~ C-
Economics ~ A-
History ~ D-
Accouting ~ F
*sigh* I have 2 F's. Report Card Day will be next week and I can already imagine my parents killing me. (I'm so sure my mum is going to ban me frum the internet & TV)
Anyway, to top things off, I was reading yesterday newspaper. Well, there was an article about the winners of a video competition. My friends and I joined that competition and we won the 2nd place. However, we did not go to the prize-giving ceremony because we all had things to do. (I went to BRATs Workshop...so I can't be in 2 places at once.) In addition, they changed the venue & the date of the prize-giving ceremony so...that was why we couldn't go.
*sigh* IF we went to the prize-giving ceremony, we could have been interviewed and maybe our pictures could be published in the newspaper. I wanted to imagine about this....(Don't I deserve to be in the spotlight once in a while?)
I went to skool and told my friends about this newspaper article thing. She actually said that she didn't mind not being interviewed because she appeared in the newspaper thrice already so...she didn't really care.
Somehow that pissed me off, real bad. Ok, maybe YOU have been in the newspaper...BUT HELLO, this isn't about YOU! YOU did NOT do all the work. IT WAS TEAMWORK!
WE DID IT TOGETHER!! I just thought that she was being a little selfish to say that.
I just wanted to snap at her. But I had to calm myself up and tell myself that she just saying what she thinks. Sometimes, I want her to know that it's NOT all about HER. It's about TEAMWORK. Rushi, Qi-chan and I worked in this too.
Even so, not everything was bad... The AFS interview went fine. I think I did well. I hope I get to go to Japan for free~~! Yup... *crosses fingers*
Eventhough, we did not go to the prize-giving ceremony, we still won ourselves a Nokia N95. Finally, a new phone for ME! I have been using my crappy phone for 5 years. It's bout time for a new phone.

Yup, this has been a crappy week. Well, atleast, not everything sucked. I wonder why I don't feel happy about the new phone right now.**sigh* Maybe, the happiness will hit me later?

Anyways, all the flairs on my blog I find on Facebook. They're fun :) You can save up and get points to get new ones and then you can make them or add them to a flairbook. They're pretty nifty :) Prolly one of the best parts of Facebook. LOL!
