Raw Past.

Image
This post might be long, raw and real. Just a warning. I just heard songs and it reminded of my past. Or rather, what I used to be. The song talked about having anger. I remember having loads of anger when I was younger. I never quite understood it. It's not like I had a bad family. I didn't and they love me and everything. But anger was real. It was like there was a fire in my chest.  I was just angry. And honestly, I hated being angry. Because that is when I would make the most stupid decision. I have always regretted every decision I made in anger. I never understood why I had so much anger. Anger was like my primary emotion. I didn't get sad when people hurt me. I get angry. Anything happens, anger would come out.  And in this world, it seemed like anger was a bad emotion. So I hated myself for having so much of it. For not being able to control it. When I was younger, anger was like fire. It only spread everywhere and I watched it burn. I could do nothin...

My life has been taken over...by writing.

Currently, I am doing the nanowrimo thing. And omg, it has taken over my life. Right now, all I can think about is my writing. I'm obsessed. Thank god, the holidays have started...or else. I seriously wonder how I will manage school. It's hard to pay attention in class when your mind is somewhere else. Thankfully, the examination is over so the paces of the class were moving very slowly. Even the lecturers were in a holiday mood. No one really wanted to learn or to lecture. Everyone wanted a holiday. I, too, was in holiday mood or rather writing mood. Just this week alone, I skipped about 6 classes (Accounting, General Paper and Economics) so that I can rush home and start typing away my story. I am just not in the mood for studying. Even if I went to class, I will simply dare dream about my novel, ignoring everything and everyone. My word count currently is about 29000. Well, at least, I passed the half way mark. To be honest, I'm not sure if I can...

Being a journalist~!

Image
Last Sunday, I went to CHEER 2009. (CHEER is an annual cheerleading competition.) So I went to CHEER 2009 as a journalist. BRATs(young journalists) were all getting together to meet each other and be journalists in this event. I was quite excited about being a journalist in a real live event, doing live coverage. That's just cool. Everyone was with their camera's, ready to snap the pictures. Yup, ever since the BRATs workshop, I'm sure everyone has become :~ a)A blogger b)A camera lover c) Has a freaking twitter account d) Addicted to the computer and the internet So yea, the workshop really did wonders to us! After the BRATs workshop, I thought I already had the taste of real journalism with insane deadlines. I thought the workshop has already shown us everything about journalism. Boy, was I wrong? I thought I knew journalism from head to toe...but I'm wrong. There is so much more to journalism. On that morning, I went backstage. (WOOHOO~! Journalists are allowed backs...

Ok, I'm finally part of BRATs! BRATs means : B right R oving A nnoying T een S BRATs Workshop is a workshop about journalism. We really were exposed to a journalist life. If you think a journalist life is easy, well, it ain't. There's crazy deadlines that means, you have to rush your work. We even get to interview an indie band. (I never knew a indie band meant tat it was an independent band). Anyway, we went street poling. Yup, we went to streets to interview people about their interview. I'm in Video Group One AKA Team Banana. Our group was pretty awesome. Everyone was just so cool and hyper. I miss everyone!! Our videographer being very steady and focus. She's so good that it's as if, she was the tripod. Haha, the future VJ, Mark Chan. If I hear his name one more time, I'll puke. (While editing the video, we heard his name a thousand god damn times) BWAHAHA, one of our interview victims. Poor dude, he got dragged in and was forced to be interviewed. All o...
