Happy Father's Day

This year, Father's Day was a little different. I woke up early in the morning to find that my dad is in a meeting. So I walked around, to check if he was really gone. I saw my mother sitting on the couch, mumbling. I didn't felt like going back to bed so I sat next to my mother and begun talking to her.

She was complaining about my father. She is also worried about out family finances because according to her, my father is gonna quit his job in August. (this job currently sucked)
She thinks that my father is :
~ Too prideful to get help
~ Too stubborn to admit his faults
~ Has a bad-temper

Well, my dad is not always like this...just sometimes. He's just human. But then again, my mother sighed & smiled because she knew my father is a nice person because :
~ He's caring
~ A good listener
~ Sarcastic & funny



I still remember the time when I was young, when both my parents weren't so busy, when we still had fun.
I was a little girl, I was slightly more closer to my father because he pampered me more. My mother was more fiercer with me.(She was always telling me to be more polite and blah blah... I was a very naughty & cheeky girl)

My father pampered me with ice-cream, toys and funfair.(But all this pampering stopped when I was 4 or 5. My mother thought I was gettin spoiled) Yup, I am my daddy's little girl. My favourite cartoons were Samurai X and X-men, all thanx to my father. People say that I'm like my father. Well, maybe that's true and maybe, it's not.

I miss the times when I felt safe in my father's arms. I miss the times when I relied on him. I miss the times I was just young and innocent. Honestly, I thought my father was superman because he was so smart and strong.

Even with all his flaws and strength, he is still my father. And he's the BEST dad ever.

You have seen me cry & laugh,
You were still by my side even when I rejected your help,
I know it hurt you more to see me in pain,

And I'll be there for you when you need me.
