Anime Convention and cosplay

Last Sunday, I finally attended an Anime Convention.

I always said that I wanted to go...and I missed it last year so I went this year~!! 

 

It is a 2 day convention. However, I only went on the second day which was a Sunday. Surprisingly, there was A LOT of people.

 It was really overwhelming. There were just so many people and things to see. And since it is my first time here, I am not really sure what to do.

I saw many cosplayers. A lot of them wore really expensive and exquisite costume.

Then, there were weird costumes. Boxes, much?

 Surprisingly, there were kids too.....

Did I cosplay too? Well, yes I did. I cosplayed as Kanmuri Shigeru. I mean, I bought that costume last year and didn't use it. So I thought that I should atleast use it once. So that's why I decided to cosplay.

Anyhow, I kinda understand why people like cosplaying.

I mean, for that one day, you can be a weird character or anything it is you want to be. And the costumes, even though they look hard to pull off. I don't think they are hard at all. Once the person gets used to the costume, it's no longer a problem. At one point, I thought my wig was my hair. So yea...

And not only that, it's also the 5 minutes of fame. I mean, people will want to take pictures of your costume. So yea. There's a high there.

As for me, I just like the idea of wearing all these exquisite and wonderful costumes. How often do you get to dress up like this anyway?

Unfortunately, this is a very expensive hobby.

So yea.

If I get to go for next year's convention, I will definitely go and cosplay again~!
