Friendship.

Sometimes, it's not about the words you say.

It's about understanding.

All we need in life, sometimes, is to know that they are people who would catch you when you fall and hold your hand when you cry.

You just want someone to be there for you and to tell you that everything would be alright.

And I am so thankful that I have friends who have been there for me.

And I really, really want to repay them back by being there for them.

I had "friends" last time that said that, "If you don't tell me that you are in trouble, how in the world would I know?"

And I remember how that made me so mad.

Because if you were my friend, you would know that I don't like telling my problems freely. I just don't because I don't want to burden or annoy you with my problems.

The friends that I thought would be there for me, weren't. But the friends that I never thought would be there for me were and I am so damn thankful.

Like the gifs above, my friends held me tight when I was going through my hardest times and told me to not give up. They whisper to me, to fight and to hold on.

Well, they didn't exactly hold on to me tightly. But it sure felt like they did.

And I am so very thankful.

Sometimes, we can be silent but it says more than we ever need to say. 

During that time, I didn't tell anyone that I was sad and my friends didn't say that they would be there for me.

But they were just there and they knew and then, I knew that they knew and I knew that they were trying to comfort me.

And that's all I needed. To understand that everything is going to be alright and that they would always be here for me.

That if I wanted to cry, it's ok.

 

This is why I feel so thankful for them. I want to say more and show them how grateful I am to them.

I just hope that they will know.

Everything do matter. A text, a message or a call. It matters and I do remember. 

So, thank you, my friends for being there for me, no matter what.

I really really want to be there for you too.

If you ever just sat down and truly asked how I felt and tried to comfort me,

then, you are my friend and you are a good friend.
