Kagerou Project.

Kagerou Project is a series of vocaloid songs that has a story to tell but the story is rather complicated though.
But in my opinion, it's a very good story.

Personally, I love this series.
In fact, I am sort of obsessed with it currently.
It's a series that speaks to my soul directly.
It's a series with irony, hope and tragedy.

It's about a bunch of kids with powers. They are weird and have no one but each other because no one else understand their situations.
But sadly, some of them had sad pasts like a friend committing suicide or being stuck in a terrible reality where they watch their friend die over and over again.
Point is, it's sad.

But at the same time, it's not all that sad because they have each other and they do look forward to a better future, having fun with each other.

And the tragic thing is, for the bad ending, they all die, being murdered by their own friend who lost his mind.
For the good ending, they grow up and they probably forget all of this.

I love this series because it seriously remind me of my past self. 
I know that if I was in high school, this is one series I will definitely be enjoying with my friends.
It's like staring back at my high school self.
It's like seeing that you have changed and yet you haven't.
It's a funny feeling.

Just like this series, my friends and I hated the world. We rejected the world and created our own.
We knew the ironies of life and considered the world a silly and futile place.
But at the same time, we had hope for the future.
We wanted to support each other to go to that future that we have always dreamt about.
Through our friendship, we learnt that the world isn't all that cruel and that caused us to look forward to the future.

We hated the world and yet, we wanted the world.
It was ironic and funny.

Through this series, I look into my past self eyes and all I can do is smile.
Because life is what it is.
And this series good ending is exactly what happened to me and my high school friends.
So it's both bittersweet.

And that's why I love this series.
As much as it's story grips my soul because I truly understand it, it allows me to take a glimpse of my past self.
