Let's talk about Apple
Apple.
It's definitely one of my favourite companies.
I love Apple so much. I'm literally a walking advertisement for Apple sometimes.
And I don't mind.
As usual, I waited for the Apple Keynote with much anticipation and I watched it, eagerly.
The only thing that really caught my eye was the Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular version.
That's the Apple Watch I been waiting for.
I assumed that it wouldn't arrive until 2 years from now.
But I'm glad that it's here.
If I can afford it, I'll definitely buy it.
Now, let's talk about the thing that everyone is talking about.
The Iphone X.
To be honest, when I watched the keynote, it didn't blow my mind away.
In fact, I ended up questioning myself.
How good a screen do we really need?
How awesome a camera do we really need?
And because of that, I found the Iphone X relatively unspectacular in that sense.
However, I must admit that I like the move towards the removal of the home button.
It makes the user interface much more intuitive.
I am not a fan of the face ID. In today's already narcissistic world, it feels like another thing that might feed into this. Most of all, I don't like the idea that tech companies will have my face. They already have my fingerprints and email. Thus, I don't feel comfortable with that.
Despite that, I must admit, I find the animoji pretty interesting. Although I found it interesting, as I watched the keynote, I couldn't help but feel an eerie ring as it reminded me of all the dystopian future that I have read in books.
But despite it all, watching the video above, made me realise one thing.
Apple is still the king of marketing.
In today's fast moving world, this advertisement is perfect. And the beat and speed is fast enough to just get you hyped.
Although I wasn't blown away by the keynote, this advertisement certainly makes me go, WOW. So yea.
I probably wouldn't be able to afford the Iphone X but that's fine with me.
My Iphone 6S works fine eventhough I do find the 16 GB memory very restrictive. But I'll live and I'll be fine.
