Apple Keynote 2019

Image
You can watch the Apple Keynote 2019 here . Anyway, here are some thoughts that I had. I really like the new ipadOS. Although I won't get it, I like the functionality of it. As for Apple Watch Series 5, I don't think there was anything outstanding or new about it. But it's still a very solid product.   And now, let's go to the Iphones. Let's be honest. There isn't anything new about the new iphones other than the BETTER SCREEN, BETTER CAMERA and BETTER PROCESSOR. But as a new phone, I think a better processor and screen seems to be a necessity. Or else, it wouldn't be "new", would it? As usual, the usual, Apple is dead song is being sung. Is Apple dead though? I think I can say, the old Apple that we all know to love is dead. The innovation first Apple. That seem to feel dead. But this keynote, clearly shows, that a new Apple has emerged under Tim Cook.  I wouldn't say it's good or bad. Just different.  And as a...

Japan Again

Image
I have always love Japan.  I been there once before and it seemed magical. There's just some magical about Japan. So this time, I headed back to Japan with a friend to different cities. As usual, I don't have much pictures.  And once again, it's still magical. The more places I go, I can only say, it's simply breathtaking. This trip with my friend was quite a chilled one so we didn't really have an itinerary and we just walked where we wanted.  We didn't really have much of a to go list. So despite spending 9 days in two different cities, which sounded long, but to us, it felt so short. And thus, it makes us feel that we barely saw the cities much. And once again, I vowed, to return again. And this time, I'll stay in each city longer.  But I'm really glad that we managed to catch the sakura because that's the whole reason why we were there. And they are so beautiful.  I have so much love for Japan that it's insane...

Hanoi budget

Image
I promised myself to do a Hanoi budget post.  Honestly, I been procrastinating too much. But well, I'm finally here. Honestly, I did enjoy Hanoi. But the best thing about Hanoi was that the price was really good and it was definitely value for money. So if you are someone who wants to travel overseas and you are tight on cash, well, this post is for you! I'm from a South East Asian Country. Okay, I'm from Malaysia. So my currency is already weaker but my flight ticket price is also cheaper because I don't have to fly too far to reach Hanoi. If I remember correctly, it was a 4 hour flight approximately.  So I'll post 3 currencies here. VND, MYR and USD. The currency exchange rate as per google exchange rates at the time of this writing. (there has been some rounding up or down done) So this what I spent on for the past 5 days. Do note that I was travelling with 2 other girls. So our food and transport cost get to be split by three. But the cost w...

It's that time of the year

Image
Yes, Christmas is coming. That's a good thing. But it also means that it's the end of the year. And it's also that time of the year to sit back and review the year.  To see how you have done. And what you want to achieve next year. To be honest, I haven't really sat down and think about it yet. On whether I did great or badly for this year. But what really prompted this because I realised how noisy my head is. There's so much thoughts. But not only that, I feel so restless and impatient. I feel so distracted and yet so tempted by everything. For some reason, I feel like so flawed. So much problems. Of course, some are self created. But yet here I am. With these thoughts. Maybe I should learn to meditate. Try to quieten these thoughts.  But due to the noise in my head, I kind of know what kind of direction I want my next year to be like. I guess not all is bad. At least I got something out of it. I know reviewing the year sounds like...

Travel Style : Wanderer

Image
Since I recently traveled, I was thinking about traveling styles.  The usual traveling style that people talk about is usually tourist or traveler. So you usually fall in between those two categories. But I find myself not falling in either of these categories. So I decided to come up with my own. I'll call it Wanderer. I have to admit that my travel style is influenced heavily by my family. I grew up in a family that usually only went to the beach for holidays. So the point of every holiday, was to relax and refocus. So in the beach, we would usually just sit by the sea all day and enjoy ourselves. And this is why for me, traveling must never be stressful. It must be relaxing. I don't like to be rushed from one place to another. I don't like waking up early mornings during a vacation. The reason why I say I fall in neither traveler or tourist is because for tourist, they would like to go to every spot but I wouldn't do that. I would go to some and not ...

Adulthood.

Image
I know I'm one of the rare ones who have said that I enjoy adulthood.  As I said before, I enjoy the freedom of being able to steer your life to where you want it to go. Of course, the question would be to decide where you want to go? And honestly, I haven't quite decided. I really need to get that sorted out. Honestly, although I personally do like adulthood, some parts of it is definitely tough. The other day, someone said that I should start planning for next year and what I want to do? And what I want to learn? I always find that as an adult, time is a very valuable resource. But despite saying that, I end up wasting it anyway sometimes.  I admit that there is so many things I want to learn and do. And sometimes I end up not doing anything because I'm just so overwhelmed. Honestly, I don't want to choose sometimes. Because it means tossing away the other possibilities which I want I guess. I know, we can't always have it all.  But sometimes, I r...

High School

Image
I have been hanging out with some high school friends lately and because of that, it has made me think about that time. As I spoke to my high school friends, I can tell that their memories and mine were a little different. To be honest, if you asked me, if I ever want to return to my high school times, the answer would most probably be no.  High school. It was an interesting time. It was filled with bittersweet memories. It was youth at its maximum and for me, it meant that I was highly unstable and emotional.   To be honest, when I was in high school, my attitude towards school was definitely hostile. I just felt like I was wasting my time. So I didn't take my studies seriously. I played devils advocate in school discussions because I just felt like it. I broke some rules just to prove that the school wasn't the boss of me. I was young, immature and most of all, confused. The strongest memory I have of high school was when I was 14. It was a time when t...
